Steve Lichtenstein

Steve Lichtenstein has over 20 years of research administration experience working directly or serving as a consultant at a number of institutions across the country.  Mr. Lichtenstein has specialized in all aspects of research administration managing large teams performing the end to end processes of grants management. 

 

As the Assistant Dean of Sponsored Research at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Mr. Lichtenstein was responsible for Pre- and Post-Award Administration, the Office of Industry Sponsored Research, and Time and Effort Reporting office with a team of 42 people.  He also has deep systems experience serving as the National Practice Manager for Oracle’s Grants Management group and performing multiple PeopleSoft and SAP implementations at various clients.  Finally, he is part of the National College and University Research Associate (NCURA) Peer Review Program that performs review of research organizations across the country.

 

Mr. Lichtenstein has an MBA from Salem State College and a BS in Finance from Bentley University. 

 

His system experience includes: Oracle, PeopleSoft, Sap, Lawson and Banner
