The NCURA NICE Award (NCURA International Conference and Excellence) aims to enable NCURA members from low-income countries (LIC) to attend NCURA conferences. This scholarship supports LIC members’ professional capacity-building and strengthens NCURA’s international engagement by enabling participation in NCURA conferences as opportunities for learning and networking with fellow administrators.

Award

The award provides up to USD $4,400 to support eligible expenses such as transportation, lodging, registration fees, and other costs directly related to conference participation.

Award support is provided in accordance with NCURA policies and logistical requirements and may be delivered through a combination of direct payment, arranged services, and/or reimbursement of eligible expenses. Travel and lodging arrangements, including the timing and method of payment, will be coordinated after visa issuance and confirmation of participation.

The award also includes 3 years of complimentary NCURA membership to keep awardees engaged with NCURA.

Timeline

Every award for a given year will be implemented the next year.

Application Requirements

1. Present a session at the conference
2. LIC country applicant
3. Submit a post-conference report

Up to 4 applicants per year may be chosen for the award, based on merit of the application.
