The NCURA Bridge Fund was made possible thanks to a generous gift from Andrea Hollingsworth, PhD, Compassionate Leadership Keynote Speaker at the 2025 Pre-Award Research Administration Conference. Inspired to act after learning how federal funding cuts were leading to job losses, Andrea wanted to offer meaningful support during this time of change.

Andrea's donation, matched by NCURA, has established the Bridge Fund, and will provide help to individuals during job transition by:

Providing training on topics such as:

• Resume Skills
• Interviewing
• How to build your personal brand

Providing a one-year free NCURA membership

Providing two hours of professional coaching

Eligibility: The NCURA Bridge Fund applicants must be a recently unemployed:

research administrator in a college or university, a teaching or not for profit hospital, an independent not for profit research institute

OR federal government employee whose activities are related to the administration of sponsored programs in areas of grants management, policy and administration

who has experienced a job disruption in the last 6 months as a result of federal funding changes

who is seeking re-employment in research administration.

Applicants do not have to be a current or former member of NCURA.
