NCURA Magazine e-Xtra Editor

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
NCURA Magazine's e-Xtra editors serve as content curators for weekly emails that deliver timely and relevant research administration information and news links to members.

DURATION: Two years. The e-Xtra editor team consists of four positions, each with staggered two-year terms, so that two positions rotate each year.

Function of Position: The e-Xtra editors are responsible for curating and compiling research administration information and news weekly to share with NCURA members. 

Esential Duties and Responsibilities & % Time Devoted: Volunteers are responsible to identify, curate, and compile timely research administration information and news links on a variety of topics and share content with NCURA staff for dissemination weekly. Volunteers should expect to devote 1-2 hours each week. 

Qualifications/Requirements: Knowledge and/or Skills – knowledge of research administration and appropriate sources of accurate information and current issues in the profession. Ability to research and compile relevant publicly available content for members.

Training and Support: Support is available from current e-Xtra editors and NCURA staff.
