28th Financial Research Administration Conference

The Financial Research Administration Conference (FRA) will be held March 15 - 16, 2027, followed by the Pre-Award Research Administration Conference (PRA) on March 18-19, 2027 in NOLA. Conference Workshops and the 6th AI Symposium will be held between the two conferences, on Wednesday, March 17th.

Join us for a Keynote to kick off the conference the morning of March 15th, 2 days of presentations, discussion groups, and networking opportunities spanning a wide array of financial topics in Research Administration. NCURA members enjoy a discounted registration fee, and the conference is open to all individuals in the Research Administration community.

Types of Education Sessions

 

Conference Days - March 15 - 16

Concurrent Sessions

Concurrent Sessions are presentations that have question and answer time built in. Concurrent sessions are presented and facilitated by 2-4 presenters, supported by a power point presentation.

Discussion Groups

Informal conversation sessions where presenters facilitate discussion sharing information on a chosen topic. Discussion Groups have two facilitators and do not use handouts, slide decks or multi-media.

 

Open Forums

Open forums provide an opportunity for dialogue and exchange around selected topics in an interactive, conversation-based format. A moderator guides the discussion while multiple speakers share perspectives and engage with participants. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, offer insights, and explore ideas together in a collaborative setting. Presentations are conversational and do not use slides or screen sharing. Sessions are 60 or 75 minutes and may include up to 3 speakers, in addition to the moderator.

Conference Workshops

Join us for half-day or full-day hands-on, interactive programs taught by topic area experts.
Workshops are supported by multi-media and handouts, and are taught live in a classroom-style setting.

Additional Fee Required

AI Symposium

This full-day symposium brings together experts in AI, research policy, data management, and compliance to explore how AI tools can enhance efficiency, decision-making, and innovation across the research enterprise.
