Credits for Your Continuing Education
NCURA trainings are eligible for several types of continuing education credits. These include:
CEUs
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for all participants.
CPEs for CPAs
Continuing Professional Education credits (CPEs) for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).
Contact Hours for CRAs
RACC Contact Hours for Certified Research Administrators (CRAs).
CEUs are nationally recognized units designed to provide a record of an individual's continuing education accomplishments. All individuals who successfully complete an NCURA traveling workshop will automatically receive Continuing Education Credits. The CEU is a nationally recognized unit designed to provide a record of an individual's continuing education accomplishments.
- For IN-PERSON: Certificates can be picked up at the registration desk at the conclusion of the workshop.
- For VIRTUAL: Certificates will be emailed to registrants within 14 business days post workshop.
NCURA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA; http://www.nasbaregistry.org/) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State Boards of Accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 50 minutes equals 1 CPE.
NCURA offers CPE credits for both in-person and virtual workshops.
- For IN-PERSON: You must sign in and sign out at the registration desk each day. When signing in; you will be asked for your CPA number. Please have this number accessible. Certificates will be emailed to registrants within 14 business days post workshop.
- For VIRTUAL: You must reach out to the NCURA liaison before the workshop begins to receive a tracking spreadsheet. CPE codes will be shared multiple times daily during the workshop. At the conclusion of the workshop, email the spreadsheet with the collected CPE codes to the NCURA liaison. Certificates will be emailed to registrants within 14 business days post workshop.
