Policies for All Traveling Workshops

Refund Policy:

Refunds of the registration fee, less a $50 administrative charge, will be honored if the request is received no later than five business days prior to the opening day of the workshop for which you are enrolled. Please note that requests can be made online or in writing; the written request cannot be in the form of an e-mail, phone call or fax. AFTER THAT DATE NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE. Transfer Policy:

Registrations may be transferred to a different location per written request no later than five business days prior to the original workshop selected. The transfer fee for switching from one session location to another is $50. NCURA, 1015 18th Street, NW, Suite 901, Washington, DC 20036

Travel Policy:

NCURA limits the number of attendees for the Traveling Workshops to ensure an interactive learning experience for our attendees. Therefore, please do not make your travel reservations until you have received a confirmation from NCURA that you have been registered. Thank you!

Credit Cards Accepted Exclusively Online

If you would like to pay by credit card, you must do it by using the Online Registration option below. Credit Card payments will not be accepted via fax or mail.

Continuing Education Units

Individuals who successfully complete this course will automatically receive Continuing Education Credits. The CEU is a nationally recognized unit designed to provide a record of an individual's continuing education accomplishments.

Certificates will be issued to those who complete this course.

Continuing Professional Education

NCURA is a program sponsor with the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.

This program is administered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)* to sponsor and award Continuing Professional Education (CPE's) to accounting professionals.

To receive CPE credit you must sign in daily at the Registration Desk. Certificates will be e-mailed to registrants. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 50 minutes equals 1 CPE.

Level I: Fundamentals of Sponsored Projects Administration - 17.5

Level II: Sponsored Projects Administration: Critical Issues in Research Administration - 17.5

Departmental Research Administration - 17.5

The National Registry of CPE Sponsors

National Council of University Research Administrators is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.

Certified Research Administrator (CRA)

CEUs earned through all of NCURA’s education opportunities online and onsite, are accepted and can be put towards CRA education hours.
