DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Workshop Evaluators are responsible for the evaluation of NCURA workshops.
DURATION: Per volunteer assignment
- Function of Position - To provide an in-depth evaluation of NCURA workshops, including Annual Meeting and conference workshops.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities & % Time Devoted - Workshop Evaluators attend pre-determined workshops and submit a written evaluation form providing an overall assessment of the workshop strengths and weaknesses in the areas of content, presenters, materials, and audio/visual resources. Workshop times will vary and may be from 4 hours to 2.5 days in length.
- Qualifications/Requirements
- Knowledge and/or Skills – Significant knowledge in the topical area being presented as well as the analytical ability to evaluate materials, content, etc., and the ability to provide objective feedback. Prior presentations experience is desirable.
- Education and/or Experience - Familiarity with university research administration issues and specific expertise in a particular specialty area(s) within the profession is desirable.
- Training and Support - The Evaluation Coordinator and the NCURA staff provide necessary orientation and support to the Workshop Evaluators.
