Instructions for Submissions:
All submissions should be in standard APA style. Details of this style, its citation format, etc. can be found at:
For references, endnotes are preferred as NCURA Magazine avoids the use of footnotes. The APA style has the author’s name and date in parentheses within the text, then an alpha listing of all references at the end of the paper. Please refer to the APA Publication Manual or the links above for specifics.
Submission Packet
Articles should be between 1,200 and 1,500 words, approximately. All submissions should include with submission a business-style photo of the author, preferably in passport style. Photo files should be 500kb or larger. At the end of the article, please include a brief professional biography of the author(s), two or three sentences long and not more than 50 words, plus contact information. An example of a biography follows.
Bio example:
Deborah L. Smith, Ed.D., Associate Vice Chancellor for Research at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, is a graduate of NCURA's Leadership Development Institute and The University of Tennessee Leadership Institute. Debbie's responsibilities at UTHSC include policy development and implementation, pre-award activities, and post-award non-financial activities. She can be reached at dsmith@uthsc.edu.
Expectations for Possible Follow-Up
We encourage all of our authors to be available for content follow-up opportunities associated with the article submitted. These may include live blogs, YouTube videos, NCURA Collaborate discussions, etc.
