Michael Anthony is the Executive Director for Management Accounting and Analysis at the University of Washington (UW). In this capacity his primary responsibilities include the University’s facilities and administrative (F&A) cost rate proposal and negotiation, oversight of the effort certification process, and review and approval of institutional service center recharge rates. Mike has over 30 years experience in research administration at UW, UC San Francisco, Cornell, UCLA, Arizona State University, and the University of Rochester. While at ASU, Mike was the principal for developing ASU’s Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) Disclosure Statement and policies for ensuring compliance with the standards.
Mike has been an active member of NCURA for several years including participation in the FRA Neighborhood, member of the 42nd Annual Meeting Program Committee, and presenter for several sessions and workshops at the National and Regional meetings. He has served as chair for the Western Region Conference on College Cost Accounting (WECA) and as co-chair of the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) Subcommittee on the Allocation of Space Costs, part of the FDP Initiative to Reduce Administrative (IRAB). He is presently is a member of the faculty for the NACUBO Long Form Facilities and Administrative Rates Workshop and a member of the FRA IX Program Committee.
