Mark Daniel is Vice President for Research Administration and Finance at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. The Dana Farber is affiliated with Partners Healthcare Inc and Harvard Medical School. In this role, Mark is responsible for a sponsored research program with expenditures of over $240M per year. Mark has more than 20 years of experience in research management, finance, costing and compliance at major academic medical centers and teaching hospitals. He has also served as Director of Research Management and Finance at Partners Healthcare as part of a team responsible for research finance and administration at the Mass General and Brigham and Woman’s Hospitals and he previously worked at KPMG in their National Research Institution Consulting Practice serving major university and medical center clients across the country. Mark has been an active member of NCURA for 15 years and has made numerous presentations, participating at many national and regional meetings and serving on the region one advisory board.
