Patti McCabe is the Director of Training and Communication in the Office of Research Administration at Stanford University. Patti McCabe has worked in the field of research administration for over 28 years. Her career at Stanford includes work in both departmental and central administration.
As Director of Training and Communication she is responsible for assessing and developing training for the research community at Stanford. Patti led the effort to develop Stanford’s Cardinal Curriculum Training and Certification Program. She contributes significantly to research administration policy development for the University. In addition she supports the Institutional Compliance Program at Stanford by assisting in developing policy and procedures and training for emerging compliance areas.
Prior to her current position, Patti served as Director of Financial Close-out for Sponsored Projects. In this capacity she worked closely with representatives of the Federal Government.
Patti has been involved with NCURA for two decades as both attendee and presenter at National and Regional meetings.
