Jeffrey Silber is the Senior Director of Sponsored Financial Services at Cornell University. In that role he is responsible for the fiscal oversight of Cornell’s Ithaca campus $400 million per year in sponsored activity. His area is also responsible for costing (including development and negotiation of the indirect cost rates), capital assets, and disbursement quality assurance. Jeff has spent over two decades in research administration in program, central (pre-award, post-award, and financial) and systems/process reengineering areas.
Jeff was first active with NCURA in 1986, and since then has presented at numerous regional and national annual meetings and Financial Research Administration and Electronic Research Administration conferences. He served on the program committee for FRA X and also participates in the Federal Demonstration Partnership.
