Lisa Mosley

Lisa Mosley is the Director of Research Advancement at Arizona State University (ASU).  In this role, she works with the University's various Colleges and Schools to build an enterprise-wide infrastructure designed to support their unique research needs, as well as serves as a liaison and advocate for departmental administrators campus wide.

Lisa has 18 years of experience in research administration and began her career as a secretary at the Institute of Psychiatric Research at IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis).  She and her husband moved to Arizona in 1994 where Lisa worked for a small technical school and managed a large contract with the Navajo Nation.  She joined ASU in 1997 as a department administrator in the School of Engineering.  She accepted a position with the central office as a Sponsored Projects Officer in 2001 where she supported Engineering faculty with proposal development and administrative post-award.  In 2004, Lisa was promoted to a Site Supervisor in to manage the newly created office in The Biodesign Institute.  In 2006 ASU implemented a Distributed Service Model, and Biodesign hired Lisa directly to help create their Research Management Office.  

Lisa started her current position in 2010, and her experience in both the central office and the department has been essential to her success. Lisa earned her CRA in 2002 and holds a BA in English (1992) from Indiana University and a BS in Psychology (1997) from Arizona State University.   She has been an active member of NCURA since 2003 and has presented at Regional Conferences and has served as a volunteer in various capacities at the National Meeting.
