Air Travel to Los Angeles The hotel is located just 5 miles from the Bob Hope Airport, in Burbank, and 25 miles from Los Angeles- Los Angeles International Airport. Another gateway is the Van Nuys Airport, which is 11 miles away. Getting to Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City Shuttles and cabs are available on the islands in front of the terminals at the Bob Hope Airport. Car rental counters are located in Terminal B. There is an information booth that can help you find the type of transportation you are looking for. You can even link up to your flights with Metrolink (Mon-Fri only) and Amtrak with their combined station within walking distance of the main terminal (free shuttle also available). The airport is also a stop on MTA bus lines and the City of Burbank Burbank Bus, which connects with Downtown Burbank and the Metro Red Line in North Hollywood. At the Los Angeles International Airport, Taxis can be found curbside on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal under the yellow sign indicating Taxis. Two shared ride van companies, Prime Time Shuttle and SuperShuttle, operate out of LAX and are authorized to serve all Southern California counties.
