52nd Annual Meeting Volunteer Opportunities & Schedule

The 52nd Annual Meeting provides many exciting opportunities to volunteer at the locations below. To sign up for any of these opportunities, please contact Myrta Stager at stager@ncura.edu and include the location, date and the time you’re available – if it’s for a portion of a time-slot, that’s okay too. NCURA Concierge

We are taking the traditional services offered at the hospitality & CPE and information desks, merging them, and offering this service on all three levels of the Hilton so that members are only steps away from someone who can help them. We will have a resource book with information and NCURA staff joining you at each location.

Night of Networking Greeters

Greeters welcome attendees at the door, for the first 30 minutes, as they enter the Saturday evening Night of Networking reception.

Attendee Check-in Stations

At the Attendee Check-in Stations, located on the Terrace Level of the Hilton, you will have the opportunity to greet and assist pre-registered attendees with a streamlined check-in that includes scanning attendee badges and providing pre-packaged meeting materials.

Regional Connection

The Regional Connection, located on the Terrace Level of the Washington Hilton, provides the opportunity to meet your regional colleagues as they stop by to pick-up their region-designated badge holder and network with colleagues.

NCURA Marketplace

The NCURA Marketplace provides meeting attendees the opportunity to view the many publications, videos, and NCURA gear available for purchase. Volunteering at the Marketplace provides you the opportunity to assist members in viewing the products and and to answer members’ questions about the publications and their value to research administrators. You will have information at the booth related to the merchandise available, the price list etc., and NCURA staff joining you.

And new this year at the NCURA Marketplace is the NCURA COOKBOOK – the fundraiser in support of Feed America! NCURA aprons and potholders also will be available, as well as the “Wall of Ideas” for members to share and discuss new ideas about what they would like to see from NCURA.
