Kathy Lorenzi is the Associate Director of the Office of Contracts and Grants at The University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to joining CU, Kathy was a Senior Contracts and Grants Specialist at The University of Texas at Austin and the Manager of Contracts at the semiconductor research consortium, SEMATECH/International SEMATECH. Ms. Lorenzi started her career at Tracor Aerospace (now, BAE Systems) as a subcontract administrator. Kathy is a an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) and Licensing Executives Society (LES). In addition she is a founding member and Past President of the Lone Star Chapter of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).

Ms. Lorenzi holds a BA degree in liberal arts from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas. She is a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM). Kathy frequently develops and presents workshops and other training for NCMA and NCURA in topics related to contracting and export control.
