Jill Frazier Tincher is the Senior Director of Research Administration at the University of Miami, Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. In addition, Jill is the Senior Director of Sponsored Programs Education. Jill's responsible for identifying sponsored programs funding opportunities, proposal processing, negotiation, and award acceptance/modification. She is also responsible for developing pre award-related policies and procedures and overseeing the development and implementation of Sponsored Programs Education opportunities (online, discussion groups, classes and workshops) conducted at all UM campuses.
Jill has worked for the University of Miami since 1994. During this time, she has worked extensively in both central and departmental administration. She worked in a cradle-to-grave office providing pre through post award administration support, and she developed the UM Sponsored Programs Education manual and classes for faculty, administrators and staff.
Jill has been an active member of NCURA since 1995. From 2000-2005, she was the E-News Editor and a member of the Professional Development Committee. Jill has served on the Region III Program Committee for the past four years. She has been a frequent presenter (concurrent sessions, discussion groups and workshops) at NCURA National and Regional meetings on topics ranging from pre-award, post-award management, and developing educational programs. Jill served as workshop co-coordinator for the 2008 Annual Meeting and currently serves as Chair of Region III and as a faculty member for NCURA's Fundamentals of Sponsored Project Administration.
