Dianne started in the University of California, Irvine in 1985 where she held various positions, including Clinical Trial Study Coordinator in the Department of Dermatology  and Contract Officer in the Sponsored Projects Administration Office before transferring to the UC Office of the President (UCOP) in Oakland in 2002.  Her role at UCOP began in the Office of Technology Transfer’s intellectual policy and analysis group where, among other duties, she served as the lead for Material Transfer Agreements for the 10-campus UC system.  In 2007 she joined the UCOP Research Administration Office where she managed private contracts and grants for the 10-campus system.  Her responsibilities included policy and systemwide support on all private (non-federal and non-state) research and non-disclosure agreements with specialization in all aspects of clinical trials; export control issues; and negotiation of master clinical trial and non-disclosure agreements. 

She left UCOP in July 2010 and is currently the Director of Engineering Research Administration at Stanford University.  Her office is responsible for all pre and post-award activities in Stanford’s nine School of Engineering departments.

Dianne received her J.D. from Western State University in Fullerton, California in 1996 and is a current member of the California Bar.
