Brian Mitchell Warshawsky is originally licensed in Michigan, Illinois, and Florida, and serves as the Senior Contracting Officer for Northwestern University's Office for Sponsored Research where he focuses on contract negotiations and regulatory compliance including issues of foreign national participation in research and export controls. He serves the University's Compliance Committee as their subject matter expert on Export Controls, and has served on the AAU/COGR troublesome clauses taskforces as well as participated as a panelist and presenter for COGR, NCURA and NACUA programs on export controls. Prior to joining Northwestern University, Mr. Warshawsky served in a similar capacity for the Gas Technology Institute, the energy research think tank, located in Des Plaines, Illinois.
