NIH officials will provide an insider's look at NIH, including history, organizational structure, the application submission and assignment process, peer review, and high priority initiatives at NIH. NIH grants management and program officials will discuss grant writing tips and budget issues. Hear the latest updates on eRA Commons functions & new policies. Don’t miss the new session on NIH electronic resources, such as RePORT, and how it can help administrators and investigators learn more about NIH funded research. The day concludes with informal discussion groups on such topics as eRA, Training & Career Development, Administrative Issues, & Program/Review.
Our goal is for the day is to have you return to your office or lab with a better understanding of NIH and the grants process, as well as the knowledge of available resources to help you along the way.
