Driving Directions: Follow the signs to Washington D.C. (George Washington Parkway). Take I-395 North to Route 1 (Route 1 is the 14th Street Bridge). Merge to the far left lane on the bridge and follow the signs for 14th Street. Take 14th Street for 1 mile. Turn left onto K Street. Continue on K for 5 blocks. Turn right onto Connecticut. Ave. Follow Connecticut. Ave. for 1 mile. Cross over the William Taft Bridge. Make a left turn at the 3rd light after the bridge onto Woodley Rd. The Hotel entrance is on left. Taxi Cabs

Taxi Cab stands are located outside the arrival exits of the terminal. Reservations are not necessary and cabs are on a first come, first serve basis. The cost of a cab from Reagan National Airport is approximately $18.00. The airport is located 7 miles from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel; it will be approximately 25 minutes of travel time to the Hotel.

Chauffeured Services

The Washington Marriott Wardman Park does not provide a shuttle to and from Reagan National Airport.

Airport regulations allow any prearranged chauffer service including Super Shuttle. There is a Super Shuttle guest coordinator that is available daily, at the airport from 6 am to 12 am.

Metro from Reagan National

There is a metro stop located right at Reagan National Airport on Concourse level terminals B and C. The airport shuttle bus takes you to an enclosed bridge that leads to the Reagan Metro station. The cost of a trip via metro rail from Reagan to The Marriott Wardman is $1.35 - $2.15.

  • Start on the Yellow line at Reagan in the direction of Mt. Vernon Square
  • Get off the Yellow line at Gallery Place/ China Town (5 stops from Reagan)
  • Transfer to the Red line in the direction of Shady Grove
  • Get off at Woodley Park (4 stops from Gallery Place/ China Town)
  • If you take the Escalator turn right and the Marriott is across the street
  • If you take the Elevator take a left onto Woodley and the Marriott is on your immediate left

Amtrak

For passengers that landed in BWI, Amtrak provides efficient means for those traveling into Washington, DC. Amtrak travels into Union Station where cabs and metro services are easily accessible.

MARC Train

The MARC Penn line commuter train is available for service from BWI to Union Station (weekdays only) for $6 one-way. The MarcTracker allows passengers to determine the location and status of every Marc train on the railways; by visiting www.marctracker.com. Also customers have the option of contacting the MTA customer service line Monday – Friday, from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Metro from Union Station to the Marriott Wardman Park

Both trains (Amtrak and MARC) from BWI Airport stop at Union Station. Union Station is located on the Metro's Red line. The Metro from Union Station to Woodley Park is $1.35 - $1.65.

SuperShuttle's door-to-door shared ride van service is available to and from Washington Dulles International Airport. The SuperShuttle ticket counters are located on the far ends of the Ground Transportation Level of the Main Terminal. Shuttles operate on an on-demand basis. No reservations are needed for outbound service from the Airport.

Washington Flyer Coach Bus

The Washington Flyer Coach Bus connects travelers from Washington Dulles Airport to the DC area's Metro rail system. The Coach Ticket counter is located at Arrivals Door #4. The bus departs approximately every 30 minutes. For a schedule and ticket prices click http://www.washfly.com/flyer_bus_about.htm The Flyer shuttle bus will drop passengers at the West Falls Church Metro stop where customers can purchase passes and board the Metro rail. Board the train in the direction of New Carrollton to be taken towards downtown DC. The cost from West Falls Church to Woodley Park is $1.85 - $3.25.
