Mich has been in research administration for 18 years, working at the departmental, school and central levels. She is currently Associate Director within Stanford's Office of Sponsored Research and oversees its Subaward/Subcontracts team, a central post-award unit, and the development of a new electronic research administration system.

She has a BS in Biology and a MS in Environmental Science. She has served as a panelist, moderator and workshop faculty at regional and national NCURA meetings and currently serves on NCURA's Professional Development Committee.
