Jerry Fife is the Interim Vice Chancellor for Administration at Vanderbilt University and has been at Vanderbilt since 1999. His responsibilities include financial and costing issues related to research administration, including F&A rates, fringe benefit rates, service center rate development, post award financial matters and Vanderbilt's A-133 audit. He is also responsible for Fixed Asset Management, Information Technology Services, Management Information Service, Human Resources, Dining, Traffic and Parking, University Police, Payroll, Child Care Centers, Occupational Health and Safety, Employee Wellness Centers, Facilities, Student Accounts, Student Loans, the Cashier's Office and University Compliance. He has served as the Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Information Technology Services.
Prior to Vanderbilt, Jerry served as the Director of Contracts and Grants at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, the Director of Sponsored Programs at Mississippi State University and served in various research administration roles at Purdue University. He has a B.S. in Management from Purdue University.
