Jamie Caldwell currently serves as Director, Office of Research Services for the Health Services, Loyola Medicine. The Office recently changed its name from the Office of Research Services, Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University Chicago to incorporate the School of Nursing and Graduate Research Programs conducted on the Medical Center Campus. Jamie has been in his position since 2000; previously he held the title of Administrative Director, Office of Research Services, Stritch School of Medicine, from 1998 to 2000. Jamie has been involved in Research Administration for more than twenty years and began his career at the University of Chicago in the Division of Biological Sciences, where he held a number of positions from, Grants Coordinator, Grants Administrator, Manager of Restricted Funds and Executive Administrator.

Jamie joined NCURA in 1988, and has been active at both the regional and national levels. Jamie was Chair elect and Chair of Region IV in 1996 and 1997. Jamie was also a member of the Executive Committee and Regional Board of Directors from 1995-2002. He also has served on the National Board of Directors and was Co-Chair of 2004 Annual Program Committee. Jamie has served as Workshop Faculty and Presenter at many NCURA meetings, both regionally and nationally. He currently serves as faculty for NCURA Fundamentals of Sponsord Project Administration workshop.
