Denise Clark is the Assistant Vice President for Research Administration and Advancement at the University of Maryland, College Park and is responsible for providing support to the campus community's research, creative activity, and outreach initiatives.
After joining NCURA in 1989, Denise has been active at both the national and regional levels. She has served on national and regional program committees, including co chairing the 50th and 43rd Annual Meetings and the ERA III Summer Conference. She has also served as a member of the Board of Directors, Secretary and Vice President. She is currently serving as President.
Denise has been a workshop faculty member, a concurrent panelist, a moderator and a discussion group leader at numerous NCURA events. Denise is a recipient of the Region II Distinguished Service Award. She is also a contributing chapter author to Sponsored Research Administration: A Guide to Effective Strategies and Recommended Practices, a publication of NCURA and Atlantic Information Services.
