James Carville and Mary Matalin

Political analysts James Carville and Mary Matalin will deliver the keynote address on Election Day! It has been four years since this husband and wife team addressed the members of NCURA on both sides of the political scale. Democrat Carville and Republican Matalin hold true to the saying that opposites attract; together they have shared numerous accomplishments.

James Carville is an American political consultant, commentator, actor, media personality and pundit. Carville gained national attention for his work as the lead strategist of the successful presidential campaign of Bill Clinton. He was the co-host of CNN's Crossfire until June 2005. Since, he has appeared on CNN's news program, The Situation Room. As of 2006, he hosts a weekly program on XM Radio titled 60/20 Sport.

Mary Matalin is an American political strategist and consultant. She is known for her work with the Republican Party. She was an assistant to President George W. Bush and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney until 2003. In April 2004, she published the book Letters to My Daughters. In March 2005, Matalin was chosen to run a new conservative publishing imprint at Simon & Schuster.
