NCURA TV

The cost of the full series (all four programs) is $2,950 per campus. To purchase an individual program the cost is $975.00 per campus. All programs will be broadcast via DIGITAL signal transmission 11:30 am – 3:30 pm, Eastern Time. NCURA will transmit a digital test signal one hour (10:30 – 11:30 am, Eastern Time) prior to air time.

Who Should Attend?

Any institution which has training needs, whether they be immediate training through participation in the live broadcast or future needs through the use of a recorded broadcast, will benefit from this series.

Viewing Options

Live Satellite Feed (DIGITAL Transmission)

Those institutions that choose the live program will receive a link including the broadcast schedule and reference material guide and digital satellite coordinates to receive the program live on their campus, as well as a license to tape the program for future on-campus training.

The program is satellite broadcast in both KU and C band digital frequencies. The specific coordinates for each show will be emailed to the institutional contact person about a week before each program. Your institution must have a digital satellite receiver and antenna to participate live.

Email your questions during the live Broadcast

Institutions can email their questions during the broadcast for the faculty to address live on air.

DVD

Approximately 4 weeks after the live program those who select the DVD option will receive a link to the broadcast schedule and reference material guide when they receive their DVD of the program. The DVD is divided into segments for ease of use and covenience.

Continuing Education Units (CEU)

NCURA will provide continuing education units for each participant who is present for the full, live presentation. Please note, CEUs are calculated based on the standard formula of one CEU = ten contact hours. For this event, participants will receive .3 CEUs. To receive credit, your site must have participants register and submit the roster containing first name, last name and E-mail address in an excel spreadsheet to ceurequest@ncura.edu. Certificates will be e-mailed to the person listed as the contact and should be distributed to the participants.

Continuing Professional Education (CPEs)

NCURA is accredited as a program sponsor with the National Registry of CPE Sponsors for "Group-Live" programs only. This program is administered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to sponsor and award Continuing Professional Education (CPE's) to accounting professionals.

If you would like to receive CPE credit for a "Group-Live" live satellite viewing of the program, your site must have interested attendees register and submit the roster containing first name, last name and E-mail address in an Excel Spread Sheet to cperequest@ncura.edu.

Certificates will be e-mailed to the person listed as the contact and should be distributed to the participants. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 50 minutes equals 1 CPE.

Each program provides a total 4 CPE credits in specialized knowledge and applications.

National Council of University Research Administrators is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
